Buffalo Blue Cheese Hummus

Whose up for some mind numbing, snack inducing, nail biting television?

No, I don’t mean Grey’s Anatomy which I’ve heard is having quite the season {I don’t watch because I’d be sucked in and surely be in the fetal position in a corner by now crying my eyes out}.  What I’m referring to is that fun little weekend past time that rolls around every fall…football.

A couple weeks ago Mr took our 6 year old with him to a BYU game while we all sulked at home.  Apparently they were a good luck charm because BYU won that night, which is the understatement of the century.  Tomorrow they have another game which will undoubtedly keep us glued to the television watching and when I say we I mean Mr, the boys, and me on my computer peeking around if it starts to get interesting.

While I’m not always interested in what’s happening on television I do like the snacks.  I made this Buffalo Hummus for the Super Bowl and it is one of my favorites.  Not only does it have cheese but it’s got a little kick from the buffalo sauce too.

Just made this. I doubled the garlic and did add about 1/4 – 1/3 cup of tahini. I also used garbanzos instead of white beans. Absolutely delicious.
