Cape Cod Cornbread Recipe

Cape Cod Cornbread budgetgourmetmom

I’ve got to be honest, I don’t really know what makes this cornbread recipe different from any other recipe out there.  I can tell you that it is the best cornbread I’ve ever made from scratch.  And I have no doubt that if I was actually in Cape Cod eating it that would add to it’s already delicious qualities.

I happened upon this recipe in a box of recipes I brought home from my Grandparent’s house.  It was hand written by my Grandfather’s hand, which makes it particularly special to me.  No doubt he found it in a magazine or newspaper clipping and was filing it away for that day when he would make it.  Or perhaps he did.

It’s funny how a simple act can change the way a recipe is perceived.  This will, undoubtedly, by my favorite corn bread recipe.  For kinda like forever.
