During my recent trip to Virginia I had a day of traveling to get home. And when I say day I really mean ALL day. I had two layovers in addition to the 4 flights it took to get home.
Of course, I was looking forward to getting as much work done as possible. Just hunkering down in the airports, hopping on the wi-fi, and plowing through post after post, responding to emails, and researching recipes. Have you heard the saying “the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry” or did I just make myself sound really old? And boring?
No matter how old or boring I sound it’s true. It’s the thought that counts doesn’t do me any good either. When I finally reached Tennessee where I had a 3 H-O-U-R layover I was ready to work. Low and behold, they have the worst wi-fi system in the airport known to man. Seriously.
