Once upon a time there were 4 little boys.
These four little boys liked to wake up early…every day. Â On one particular Saturday morning they came into their mother’s room and exclaimed they were hungry. Â Barely awake herself she rolled over and saw that it was 6:30 in the morning.
On a Saturday. Â Really!? Â 6:30. In the morning.
Knowing that these four boys would not leave her alone until they got what they wanted she stumbled into the kitchen to make breakfast. Â At 6:32 in the morning.
Not really in the mood for the usual cold cereal or in the right mind to make a pancake feast she whipped up some very easy, no thinking required Nutella Swirl Rolls.
The children were quiet. Â Watching cartoons. Â Mommy was snoozing on the couch. Â At least until 7:10. Â Then they were hungry again.
Ingredients
- 1 refrigerated french bread loaf
- 1/4 cup Nutella Hazelnut Spread
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tblsp milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°. Spray a 12 count muffin tin with cooking spray.
- Open and gently roll out the french bread loaf onto a slightly floured surface. Don't worry if it tears in places, you can pinch the dough back together.
- Spoon out Nutella and spread evenly over the dough.
- Roll the dough lengthwise from one end to the other. Using a sharp serrated knife slice into 12 equal pieces.
- Place them each into a muffin tin and bake for 10 minutes or until very slightly browned. Drizzle with glaze and serve.
- In a medium bowl mix the powdered sugar and milk until it is fully incorporated. Drizzle over the rolls once they come out of the oven.

I finally got it so that my daughter would sleep in until 7:30 or 8, then I had my little boy. And he’s an early riser. Maybe it’s something with boys!!
But I do have to say – I wouldn’t mind waking up early for one of these!!
It must be a boy thing! Sheesh! These do make waking up early a bit easier!
I wouldn’t mind getting up early for these as well! Ilove Nutella and these rolls look fantastic!
Oh my goodness these rolls look soooo good. I wish I had one (or two or three!) for breakfast.
These sound FANTASTIC! And so easy! I love Nutella. You’re brilliant for putting it into a cinnamon roll-like form!
Loved the post and the recipe. The rolls look delicious!
Fantastic idea! I would eat the whole batch.
Love, Love, Love, Love, LOVE!!! I am a sucker for all things Nutella, and these are so cute and amazing!!

Really like how easy you made these with pre-made dough!
I still have yet to try Nutella. Crazy, I know. This looks delicious, of course. Good way to try. I also saw nutella on a waffle with bananas. Okay…going to try both.
Once you try it you will be hooked. Stock up! Hope you like these!
would love to wake up to a batch of these baking in the oven, maybe I can convince someone to make them for me
Love this idea! Am going to make some for my daughter to have tomorrow for breakfast! I may even freeze a few for later use to I don’t consume them all myself!
Those look incredible! Love the quick and easy recipe!
