Peanut Butter Pie with Caramel and Chocolate Ganache {Take 5 Pie}

I don’t even try to explain to my kids why they seem to have less Halloween candy the day after they go trick or treating.  It has to be those darn bread ruining elves that have found another hobby.  I would surely never steal candy from a baby.  Borrow?  Maybe.

And during this past Halloween I discovered a candy bar that will forever be known as my downfall; as most chocolate bars are.  It’s a Take 5 Bar from Hershey’s.  It is pretzel with caramel, peanut butter, peanuts, and dipped in chocolate.  The only thing that could possible improve this is the news that is the perfect health food loaded with vitamins and only 5 calories.  I’m not holding my breath.

I am banking on the health benefits of peanut butter and antioxidants from chocolate.  Please don’t take that one thing away from me.  And pretzels are low fat, are they not!?  See.  Health food.

This Peanut Butter Pie with Caramel and Chocolate Ganache with a pretzel crust aka TAKE 5 Pie may be harder to pass off as healthy.  This pie also incorporates a long standing obsession I have with cheesecake.  What.have.I.done.

With Thanksgiving fast approaching many of you may be searching for that perfect pie to serve.  Look no further!  My bestie Holly, from pheMOMenon, and I want you to share your favorite slice o’ pie right here.
