I have good news and bad news.
The good news is I’ve managed to create a cookie that is even more powerfully addictive than the average cookie.
The bad news is it has a half pound of butter in them.
The good news? Butter makes almost everything taste better.
The bad news? Butter makes almost everything taste better.
Embrace your inner Paula {Deen} and just go with it.
And now excuse me while I go do 100 squats.

You’ll love it Kris!
Yep these should be illegal!
I’m so glad they aren’t though!
My grandmother made potato chip cookies when I was a kid. They were a HUGE favorite in my family! Thanks for this post. I’ll be baking a batch SOON!
That’s great Scott! I’d never seen these before until I was flipping through a cookbook. Once I saw them it was a no-brainer…I had to try them!
They wouldn’t be worth it without the butter, right? These sound fab!!
Thanks Deborah! I love the texture. They were a lot like shortbread.
I grew up on my Grannie’s potato chip cookies…I get the feeling this recipe is very similar. Saving – thanks!
