Now that is a mouthful. Â In more ways than one. Â I may or may not have stuffed 2 or 3 of these in my mouth at once. Â Okay I didn’t…but I would be lying if I didn’t say I was tempted.
I baked these during the Superbowl since all the men were sucked into what was happening on the tele and they were hungry and I was bored. Â That is a combination that can only produce wicked good things. Â Like shopping at the grocery store on an empty
stomach. Â You know you shouldn’t but you do anyway and come home with Double Stuf Oreos cuz they were on sale and had an aura about them that just said, “take me home with you!”
True story. Â I’ll be making something else with those later. Â Or eating them one little insignificant cookie at a time until I reach into the container only to find they are all gone.
And speaking of suddenly discovering your huge batch of cookies to have mysteriously disappeared…these chocolate chip cookies are already gone. Â Much to my elation and chagrin.
I’ll probably whip up one more batch before I head to California to visit my family. Â The cream cheese I added to this chocolate chip cookie recipe was amazing! Â And they were even better the next day. Â Ridiculously soft and chewy and chocolaty and moist and, oh no, I’ve gone cross eyed.
